Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God [0430] in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

And the LORD thy God [0430] will put out those nations before thee by little and little : thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

But the LORD thy God [0430] shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

The graven images of their gods [0430] shall ye burn with fire : thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God [0430].

For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God [0430] giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God [0430] of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods [0430], upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree :

And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods [0430], and destroy the names of them out of that place.

But unto the place which the LORD your God [0430] shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come :
