Ezr 9:4 C D T R K Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words [01697] of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
Ezr 10:4 C T R Arise; for this matter [01697] belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.
Ezr 10:5 C D T R K Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word [01697]. And they sware.
Ezr 10:9 C D T R K Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter [01697], and for the great rain.
Ezr 10:12 C D T R Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said [01697], so must we do.
Ezr 10:13 C D T R But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two : for we are many that have transgressed in this thing [01697].
Ezr 10:14 C D T R Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter [01697] be turned from us.
Ezr 10:16 C D T R K And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter [01697].

Ne 2:18 C D T R K Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words [01697] that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
Ne 2:19 C D T R K But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing [01697] that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Ne 2:20 C D T R Then answered [01697] I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build : but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
Ne 5:6 C T R K And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words [01697].
Ne 5:8 C D T R K And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing [01697] to answer.
Ne 5:9 C D T R Also I said, It is not good that [01697] ye do : ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Ne 5:12 C D T R Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise [01697].
Ne 5:13 C D T R K Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise [01697], even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise [01697].
Ne 6:4 C T R Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort [01697]; and I answered them after the same manner [01697].
Ne 6:5 C D T R K Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner [01697] the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
Ne 6:6 C D T R K Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel : for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words [01697].
Ne 6:7 C D T R And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah : and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words [01697]. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
Ne 6:8 C D T R Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things [01697] done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
Ne 6:19 C D T R Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words [01697] to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.
Ne 8:4 C D T R K And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose [01697]; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
Ne 8:9 C D T R K And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words [01697] of the law.
Ne 8:12 C D T R And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words [01697] that were declared unto them.
Ne 8:13 C D T R K And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words [01697] of the law.
Ne 9:8 C D T R K And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words [01697]; for thou art righteous :
Ne 11:23 C D T R K For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due [01697] for every day.
Ne 11:24 C D T R K And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters [01697] concerning the people.
Ne 12:23 C D T R K The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles [01697], even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
Ne 12:47 C D T R K And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion [01697]: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
Ne 13:17 C D T R Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing [01697] is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Es 1:12 C D T R But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment [01697] by his chamberlains : therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.
Es 1:13 C D T R K Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner [01697] toward all that knew law and judgment :
Es 1:17 C D T R For this deed [01697] of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
Es 1:18 C D T R K Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed [01697] of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
Es 1:19 C D T R K If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment [01697] from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
Es 1:21 C D T R And the saying [01697] pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word [01697] of Memucan :
Es 2:1 C D T R K After these things [01697], when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
Es 2:4 C D T R And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing [01697] pleased the king; and he did so.
Es 2:8 C D T So it came to pass, when the king's commandment [01697] and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
Es 2:15 C D T R K Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing [01697] but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
Es 2:22 C D T R And the thing [01697] was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai's name.
Es 2:23 C D T R K And when inquisition was made of the matter [01697], it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree : and it was written in the book of the chronicles [01697] before the king.
Es 3:1 C D T R K After these things [01697] did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.
Es 3:4 C D T R K Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters [01697] would stand : for he had told them that he was a Jew.
Es 3:15 C D T R K The posts went out, being hastened by the king's commandment [01697], and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
Es 4:3 C D T R K And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment [01697] and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
Es 4:9 C D T And Hatach came and told Esther the words [01697] of Mordecai.
Es 4:12 C D T And they told to Mordecai Esther's words [01697].
Es 5:5 C D T R Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said [01697]. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
Es 5:8 C D T R K If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said [01697].
Es 5:14 C D T R K Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing [01697] pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
Es 6:1 C D T R K On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles [01697]; and they were read before the king.
Es 6:3 C D T R K And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing [01697] done for him.
Es 6:10 C D T R Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate : let nothing [01697] fail of all that thou hast spoken.
Es 7:8 C D T R K Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word [01697] went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.
Es 8:5 C D T R K And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing [01697] seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces :
Es 8:14 C D T R K So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment [01697]. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.
Es 8:17 C D T R K And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment [01697] and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
Es 9:1 C D T R K Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment [01697] and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
Es 9:20 C D T R K And Mordecai wrote these things [01697], and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far,
Es 9:26 C D T R K Wherefore they called these days Purim after the name of Pur. Therefore for all the words [01697] of this letter, and of that which they had seen concerning this matter, and which had come unto them,
Es 9:30 C D T R And he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to the hundred twenty and seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words [01697] of peace and truth,
Es 9:31 C D T R K To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for their seed, the matters [01697] of the fastings and their cry.
Es 9:32 C D T K And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters [01697] of Purim; and it was written in the book.
Es 10:2 C D T R K And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles [01697] of the kings of Media and Persia?
Job 2:13 C D T R K So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word [01697] unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

Job 19:28 C D T R K But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter [01697] is found in me?
Job 26:14 C D T R K Lo, these are parts of his ways : but how little a portion [01697] is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Job 29:22 C T R K After my words [01697] they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.
