1Sa 15:24 C D T R K And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned : for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words [01697]: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
1Sa 15:26 C D T R And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word [01697] of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
1Sa 16:18 C D T R K Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters [01697], and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.

1Sa 18:23 C D T R K And Saul's servants spake those words [01697] in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king's son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?

1Sa 18:26 C D T K And when his servants told David these words [01697], it pleased [01697] David well to be the king's son in law : and the days were not expired.
1Sa 19:7 C D T R And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things [01697]. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past.

1Sa 20:21 C D T R And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt [01697]; as the LORD liveth.
1Sa 20:23 C D T R K And as touching the matter [01697] which thou and I have spoken of, behold, the LORD be between thee and me for ever.
1Sa 20:39 C D T But the lad knew not any thing : only Jonathan and David knew the matter [01697].
1Sa 21:2 C D T R K And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business [01697], and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business [01697] whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
1Sa 21:8 C D T And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business [01697] required haste.

1Sa 24:16 C D T R And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words [01697] unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.
1Sa 25:9 C D T R And when David's young men came, they spake to Nabal according to all those words [01697] in the name of David, and ceased.
1Sa 25:12 C T R So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings [01697].
1Sa 25:24 C D T R And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words [01697] of thine handmaid.
1Sa 25:36 C D T R K And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken : wherefore she told him nothing [01697], less or more, until the morning light.

If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering : but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

2Sa 11:25 C D T R Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing [01697] displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another : make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
2Sa 11:27 C D T R And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing [01697] that David had done displeased the LORD.
2Sa 12:6 C D T R K And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing [01697], and because he had no pity.
2Sa 12:9 C D T R Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment [01697] of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
2Sa 12:12 C D T R For thou didst it secretly : but I will do this thing [01697] before all Israel, and before the sun.
2Sa 12:14 C D T R Howbeit, because by this deed [01697] thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
2Sa 12:21 C D T R Then said his servants unto him, What thing [01697] is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
2Sa 13:20 C D T R K And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister : he is thy brother; regard not this thing [01697]. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.
2Sa 13:21 C D T R K But when king David heard of all these things [01697], he was very wroth.
2Sa 13:22 C D T R And Absalom spake unto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad : for Absalom hated Amnon, because [01697] he had forced his sister Tamar.
2Sa 13:33 C D T R Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing [01697] to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead : for Amnon only is dead.
2Sa 13:35 C D T K And Jonadab said unto the king, Behold, the king's sons come : as thy servant said [01697], so it is.
2Sa 14:3 C D T R K And come to the king, and speak on this manner [01697] unto him. So Joab put the words [01697] in her mouth.
2Sa 14:12 C D T R K Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word [01697] unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.
2Sa 14:13 C D T R K And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing [01697] as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
2Sa 14:15 C D T K Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing [01697] unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid : and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request [01697] of his handmaid.
2Sa 14:17 C D T R K Then thine handmaid said, The word [01697] of my lord the king shall now be comfortable : for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad : therefore the LORD thy God will be with thee.
2Sa 14:18 C D T R Then the king answered and said unto the woman, Hide not from me, I pray thee, the thing [01697] that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
2Sa 14:19 C D T R And the king said, Is not the hand of Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken : for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words [01697] in the mouth of thine handmaid :
2Sa 14:20 C D T R K To fetch about this form of speech [01697] hath thy servant Joab done this thing [01697]: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
2Sa 14:21 C D T R And the king said unto Joab, Behold now, I have done this thing [01697]: go therefore, bring the young man Absalom again.
2Sa 14:22 C D T R K And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed himself, and thanked the king : and Joab said, To day thy servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request [01697] of his servant.
2Sa 15:3 C D T R K And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters [01697] are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.
2Sa 15:6 C D T R K And on this manner [01697] did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment : so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
2Sa 15:11 C D T R K And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing [01697].
