But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him [846], We are able.

The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him [846]?

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he [846] said unto them [846], Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
