|
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their [846] lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
|
Mt 25:2 |
C
T
R
K
|
And five of them [846] were wise, and five were foolish.
|
Mt 25:3 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
They that were foolish took their [846] lamps, and took no oil with them :
|
Mt 25:4 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
But the wise took oil in their [846] vessels with their [846] lamps.
|
Mt 25:6 |

R
K
|
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him [846].
|
Mt 25:7 |
C

|
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their [846] lamps.

Mt 25:10 |
C

|
And while they [846] went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him [846] to the marriage : and the door was shut.
|
Mt 25:14 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them [846] his [846] goods.
|
Mt 25:16 |
C
T
R
K
|
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same [846], and made them other five talents.
|
Mt 25:17 |
C
T
R
K
|
And likewise he that had received two, he [846] also gained other two.
|
Mt 25:18 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his [846] lord's money.
|
Mt 25:19 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them [846].
|
Mt 25:20 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents : behold, I have gained beside them [846] five talents more.
|
Mt 25:21 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
His [846] lord said unto him [846], Well done, thou good and faithful servant : thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things : enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
|
Mt 25:22 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents : behold, I have gained two other talents beside them [846].
|
Mt 25:23 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
His [846] lord said unto him [846], Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things : enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
|
Mt 25:26 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
His [846] lord answered and said unto him [846], Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed :
|
Mt 25:28 |
C
D
T
R
|
Take therefore the talent from him [846], and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
|
Mt 25:29 |
C
T
R
K
|
For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance : but from him [846] that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
|
Mt 25:31 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
When the Son of man shall come in his [846] glory, and all the holy angels with him [846], then shall he sit upon the throne of his [846] glory :
|
Mt 25:32 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
And before him [846] shall be gathered all nations : and he shall separate them [846] one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats :
|
Mt 25:33 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
And he shall set the sheep on his [846] right hand, but the goats on the left.
|
Mt 25:34 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then shall the King say unto them on his [846] right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world :
|
Mt 25:37 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then shall the righteous answer him [846], saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
|
Mt 25:40 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
And the King shall answer and say unto them [846], Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
|
Mt 25:41 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his [846] angels :
|
Mt 25:44 |
C
D
T
R
|
Then shall they [846] also answer him [846], saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
|
Mt 25:45 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then shall he answer them [846], saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
|
Mt 26:1 |
C
D
T
R
|
And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his [846] disciples,
|
Mt 26:7 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
There came unto him [846] a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his [846] head, as he sat at meat.
|
Mt 26:8 |
C
D
T
R
|
But when his [846] disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
|
Mt 26:10 |
C
D
T
R
|
When Jesus understood it, he said unto them [846], Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
|
Mt 26:12 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
For in that she [846] hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
|
Mt 26:13 |
C
D
T
R
|
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman [846] hath done, be told for a memorial of her [846].
|
Mt 26:15 |
C
D
T
R
|
And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him [846] unto you? And they covenanted with him [846] for thirty pieces of silver.
|
Mt 26:16 |
C

And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him [846].

Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him [846], Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
|
Mt 26:18 |

R
|
And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him [846], The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
|
Mt 26:19 |
C
D
T
R

And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them [846]; and they made ready the passover.
|
Mt 26:21 |

R
K
|
And as they [846] did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
|
Mt 26:22 |
C
D
T
R
|
And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them [846] to say unto him [846], Lord, is it I?
|
Mt 26:24 |
C
D
T
R
|
The Son of man goeth as it is written of him [846]: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man [846] if he had not been born.
|
Mt 26:25 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then Judas, which betrayed him [846], answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him [846], Thou hast said.
|
Mt 26:26 |

And as they [846] were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
|
Mt 26:27 |
C
D
T

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them [846], saying, Drink ye all of it [846];
|
Mt 26:29 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it [846] new with you in my Father's kingdom.
|
Mt 26:31 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
Then saith Jesus unto them [846], All ye shall be offended because of me this night : for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
|
Mt 26:33 |
C
D
T
R
|
Peter answered and said unto him [846], Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

Then cometh Jesus with them [846] unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
|
Mt 26:38 |
C
D

Then saith he unto them [846], My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death : tarry ye here, and watch with me.
|
Mt 26:39 |
C
D
T
R
K
|
And he went a little further, and fell on his [846] face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me : nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
|
Mt 26:40 |
C
D
T
R
|
And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them [846] asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
|
Mt 26:42 |
C
D
T
R
|
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it [846], thy will be done.
|
Mt 26:43 |
C
T
R
|
And he came and found them [846] asleep again : for their [846] eyes were heavy.
|

And he left them [846], and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same [846] words.

Then cometh he to his [846] disciples, and saith unto them [846], Sleep on now, and take your rest : behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
|
Mt 26:47 |

And while he [846] yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him [846] a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
|
Mt 26:48 |
C
D

Now he that betrayed him [846] gave them [846] a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same [846] is he [846]: hold him [846] fast.
|
Mt 26:49 |

And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his [846] sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his [846] ear.
|
Mt 26:52 |

But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him [846], and fled.

But Peter followed him [846] afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.
