Jas 2:3 C D T R K And [2532] ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and [2532] say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and [2532] say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool :
Jas 2:4 C D T R K Are ye not then [2532] partial in yourselves, and [2532] are become judges of evil thoughts?
Jas 2:5 C D T R K Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and [2532] heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Jas 2:6 C D T R K But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and [2532] draw you before the judgment seats?
Jas 2:11 C D T R K For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also [2532], Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jas 2:12 C D T R K So speak ye, and [2532] so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Jas 2:13 C D T R K For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and [2532] mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
Jas 2:15 C D T R K If a brother or sister be naked, and [2532] destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 C D T R K And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and [2532] filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 C D T R K Even [2532] so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:19 C D T R K Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well : the devils also [2532] believe, and [2532] tremble.
Jas 2:22 C D T R K Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and [2532] by works was faith made perfect?
Jas 2:23 C D T R K And [2532] the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and [2532] it was imputed unto him for righteousness : and [2532] he was called the Friend of God.
Jas 2:24 C D T R K Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and [2532] not by faith only.
Jas 2:25 C D T R K Likewise also [2532] was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and [2532] had sent them out another way?
Jas 2:26 C D T R K For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also [2532].
Jas 3:2 C D T R K For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also [2532] to bridle the whole body.
Jas 3:3 C D T R K Behold, we put bits in the horses ' mouths, that they may obey us; and [2532] we turn about their whole body.
Jas 3:4 C D T R K Behold also [2532] the ships, which though they be so great, and [2532] are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
Jas 3:5 C D T R K Even [2532] so the tongue is a little member, and [2532] boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Jas 3:6 C D T R K And [2532] the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity : so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and [2532] setteth on fire the course of nature; and [2532] it is set on fire of hell.
Jas 3:7 C D T R K For every kind of beasts, and [2532] of birds, and of serpents, and [2532] of things in the sea, is tamed, and [2532] hath been tamed of mankind :
Jas 3:9 C D T R K Therewith bless we God, even [2532] the Father; and [2532] therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Jas 3:10 C D T R K Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and [2532] cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Jas 3:11 C D T R K Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and [2532] bitter?
Jas 3:12 C D T R K Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and [2532] fresh.
Jas 3:13 C D T R K Who is a wise man and [2532] endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Jas 3:14 C D T R K But if ye have bitter envying and [2532] strife in your hearts, glory not, and [2532] lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:16 C T R K For where envying and [2532] strife is, there is confusion and [2532] every evil work.
Jas 3:17 C D T R K But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and [2532] good fruits, without partiality, and [2532] without hypocrisy.
Jas 4:1 C D T R K From whence come wars and [2532] fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Jas 4:2 C D T R K Ye lust, and [2532] have not : ye kill, and [2532] desire to have, and [2532] cannot obtain : ye fight and [2532] war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Jas 4:3 C T R K Ye ask, and [2532] receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Jas 4:4 C D T R K Ye adulterers and [2532] adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jas 4:7 C D T R K Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and [2532] he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 C D T R K Draw nigh to God, and [2532] he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and [2532] purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Jas 4:9 C D T R K Be afflicted, and [2532] mourn, and [2532] weep : let your laughter be turned to mourning, and [2532] your joy to heaviness.
