The sons of Merari--They comprised six fathers' houses. Summing them together, Gershon founded nine fathers houses, Kohath nine, and Merari six: total, twenty-four. |
21 The sons [01121] of Merari [04847]; Mahli [04249], and Mushi [04187]. The sons [01121] of Mahli [04249]; Eleazar [0499], and Kish [07027].
22 And Eleazar [0499] died [04191], and had no sons [01121], but daughters [01323]: and their brethren [0251] the sons [01121] of Kish [07027] took [05375] them.
23 The sons [01121] of Mushi [04187]; Mahli [04249], and Eder [05740], and Jeremoth [03406], three [07969].
